Edinson Cavani is hopeful that a change in tactics by Paris Saint-Germain will suit him in the forthcoming season.
Last term the Uruguayan was reportedly unhappy about the way he was utilised by the club, who often deployed him in wide positions so the prolific Zlatan Ibrahimovic could play through the middle.
And recently the 27-year-old was rumoured to have told his agent to investigate a possible move to the Premier League, alerting Chelsea and Manchester United.
Nevertheless, the forward helped PSG capture the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de la Ligue in his first season in the French capital.
It now seems that a discussion with PSG coach Laurent Blanc may see a change in approach that is to Cavani’s liking.
"I am at Paris, I think I will stay here, but you never know with the transfer window," he told Ovacion Digital.
"There was a discussion with Laurent Blanc before the end of the season and I think there will be a new tactical scheme this season.”
