Celtic have allowed forwards Amido Balde and Teemu Pukki to leave the club on a temporary basis

Portuguese striker Balde has joined Belgian club Beveren on a season-long loan deal.

He moved to Celtic last summer but in 23 appearances, in all competitions, could only muster three goals for the Hoops.

The U19 and U20 international will now try his hand across the English Channel in a bid to find his goal-scoring form.

Balde signed a four-year Parkhead contract when he moved to Scotland in June 2013.

His new side Beveren are currently 15th in the 16-team Belgian Pro League after six games of the season.

Finnish striker Pukki, 24, has joined Brondby along with another Celtic striker, young Icelandic forward Holmbert Fridjonsson.

Both have joined Brondby for the season with the Danes holding an option to buy Pukki who joined Celtic from Schalke last summer.
