MK Dons midfielder Ben Reeves has withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Finland with a calf injury.

Reeves won his second cap in Wednesday night's 1-0 friendly defeat by Scotland and was replaced by Steven Davis during the second half of the game.

Kyle Lafferty, Niall McGinn and Corry Evans were rested for the match in Glasgow as they nursed minor injuries.

A number of other key players were left out with Sunday's game in mind.

Central defenders Aaron Hughes and Jonny Evans were among those given game-time at Hampden Park because they had not featured for their clubs recently.

Northern Ireland lie second in qualifying Group F, one point behind leaders Romania.

Michael O'Neill's side lost to the Romanians in November, having defeated Hungary, the Faroe Islands and Greece in their opening three fixtures.
