Chelsea have completed the signing of Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji.
The Senegal international has signed a four-year contract, with Sky sources indicating the fee is in the region of £2.7m.
The 26-year-old, who was in the final year of his Nantes deal, is Chelsea's sixth signing of the transfer window.
He said: "I'm very happy to sign for a big club like Chelsea and I want to do my best to help the team win titles. I want to thank the club for giving me this opportunity."
The deal for Djilobodji was done after Everton's refusal to sanction the sale of England centre-half John Stones.
Chelsea were prepared to pay £30m for Stones, but Everton made it clear they had "no intention of selling".
