The nominees for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards for September have been announced.

Sonny Bradley (Plymouth Argyle), Gary Roberts (Portsmouth), Jon Stead (Notts County) and Nathan Thomas (Hartlepool United) all have made the player shortlist.

Derek Adams (Plymouth Argyle), John Coleman (Accrington Stanley), Steve Davis (Crewe Alexandra) and Paul Hurst (Grimsby Town) are up for the manager award.

Bradley has played at the heart of a Plymouth defence that has conceded just two goals this month. His no-nonsense style has made him an instant hit with the fans.

Portsmouth's Roberts scored three and created two goals during a fruitful month for his side while fellow veteran Stead bagged five goals for Notts County to take his season tally to nine.

Five goals in five games from for Thomas, including two lovely finishes at Yeovil, gave him the unusual tag of scoring all of Hartlepool's goals in September.

Adams guided his team to 13 points from five games over the month as Plymouth hit the top of the table while Coleman bounced back from a terrible August to pick up 11 points from five unbeaten games with Accrington.
