Neil Warnock has signed a new contract with Cardiff City to keep him at the Sky Bet Championship club until the end of next season.

Warnock revealed on Friday that he had agreed to stay at the Cardiff City Stadium next season and the club have now confirmed he has signed the new deal.

Cardiff is the 15th club the 68-year-old has managed in his career and he has won 11 of his 23 games since he replaced Paul Trollope in October.

Assistant manager Kevin Blackwell and first team coach Ronnie Jepson have also extended their deals.

Chairman Mehmet Dalman said: "This is fantastic news for the club and I'm delighted that Neil has extended his time with us.
