Barcelona and St Etienne fined by UEFA for fans misbehaviour

Barcelona and Saint-Etienne have been fined by UEFA for their fans' behaviour in recent Champions League and Europa League ties.

Barcelona have been hit with a £16,000 bill from European football's governing body in respect of the pitch invasion that followed their 6-1 Champions League victory against Paris Saint-Germain at the Nou Camp on March 8.

Supporters entered the field of play after substitute Sergi Roberto scored a dramatic winner with almost the last kick of the second-leg match to secure an improbable comeback.

Meanwhile, St-Etienne have been hit with a £43,000 sanction after their fans set off fireworks and threw objects during their Europa League match against Manchester United at Old Trafford on February 16.
