Hull City skipper Michael Dawson is finally ready to return to action against West Ham on Saturday, following a seven-week injury layoff.
Dawson hasn't played for the Tigers since February 1, having been kept out for six games with a calf injury.
The 33-year-old is now set for a return to full training according to the club though, and he will hope to string a series of games together having also missed a large chunk of the start of the campaign with a knee injury.
"Michael Dawson is set to return to full training later this week as his recovery from a calf injury nears completion," Hull confirmed on their official website.
"Dawson hasn't played since the 0-0 draw with Manchester United at the start of February, but is likely to be
given the green light to join the rest of the first-team squad as they prepare for next Saturday's home game against West Ham United."
Dawson has been restricted to 19 appearances in all competitions for Hull this season, having sustained knee ligament damage in pre-season against Mansfield in July, delaying his start of the season until October.
Meanwhile, the Tigers have also confirmed goalkeeper David Marshall is likely to return to the squad in time for the visit of West Ham.
Marshall was withdrawn from international duty with Scotland last week due to a hip injury.
