Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has been charged by UEFA for "provoking spectators at the end of the game" against Linfield in their Champions League qualifying clash.
Griffiths was pictured tying a Celtic scarf to the goalpost at Windsor Park after the 2-0 win on July 14, which sparked crowd disorder.
UEFA have confirmed that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against him as well as both clubs.
Hosts Linfield have been charged for objects being thrown from the crowd and a field invasion by supporters, while Celtic have been charged for improper conduct of the team.
Coins and bottles were aimed at Griffiths on a number of occasions, including in the second half when he was attempting to take a corner kick.
He was forced to remove objects from the field including coins and a bottle, and was subsequently booked by Spanish referee Alejandro Hernandez for time-wasting.
This case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on July 20.
