The summer transfer window is in full flow and clubs across Europe are making moves as they look to piece together the squad they need for the 2017/18 season.

Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the continental media for the latest news and transfer rumours.

Spain

Despite rejecting a bid from Barcelona yesterday, Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group, have started to negotiate with the Catalan club over the sale of Philippe Coutinho. FSG would be willing to sell for €100million (£90million) up front, with €20million (£18million) in add-ons and Andre Gomes perhaps being used in the deal as a makeweight. (AS)

The demands of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund for Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele mean it's now unlikely Barcelona will sign both of them. (AS)

Real Madrid are interfering in Barcelona's deal for Dembele. Los Blancos are showing interest to push the price up, as the player prefers Barcelona, so they would have to outbid Madrid. But they are not completely against bringing in the French winger as their deal for Kylian Mbappe looks to have been hijacked by Paris Saint-Germain. (Mundo Deportivo)

Barcelona will not officially send on Neymar's International Transfer Certificate, which will allow him to play for PSG, until they have received and verified all of the €222million (£198million) fee agreed between the two clubs. That could take until the end of the week, putting his potential debut at Guingamp on Sunday in doubt. (AS)

Sergi Roberto's priority is to be a starter at Barca next season. Ernesto Valverde's decision to use him as a midfielder means he has lost his place in Barcelona's starting XI and is now looking elsewhere. He is a Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester United transfer target. All three clubs are willing to meet his €40million (£36million) buyout clause. (Sport)

Juventus transfer target Emre Can has rejected a new contract at Liverpool, giving the Bianconeri a boost in their chase for the German international. They have offered €25million (£22.6million), but Liverpool want at least €30million (£27million), so Juve are keeping their options open with Roma's Kevin Strootman also on their shortlist. Paulo Dybala will not be leaving Juventus this summer. He has been subject of Barcelona transfer rumours, but the Turin side have given him the No.10 shirt to convince him to stay. (La Gazzetta dello Sport)

Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick is set to join Inter after successfully undergoing a medical. He had previously failed a medical at Juventus, but the issues have now cleared up. (Corriere dello Sport)

Portugal

Sporting Lisbon have rejected a bid from West Ham for midfielder William Carvalho. The offer is believed to be around €30million (£27million). (Record)

Andre Carrillo is still a Watford transfer target. The Benfica winger was linked with a move to Vicarage Road earlier in the summer and Marco Silva hasn't given up hope of signing him. (Record)

Germany

RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick admits Naby Keita could leave next summer. He expects him to impress in the Champions League for the German club, but admits that could make it difficult to keep hold of the Liverpool transfer target. (Bild)

Marseille transfer target Olivier Giroud doesn't want to join the Ligue 1 club. Manager Rudi Garcia admitted the Arsenal man was the perfect striker for their system, but conceded they've failed to convince him their project is the right one for him. (L'Equipe)

Lyon are chasing Yangel Herrera as they look for midfield reinforcements following the departures of Corentin Tolisso and Maxime Gonalons. The 19-year-old Venezuelan midfielder is currently on loan at New York City from Manchester City. (Le Parisien)
