The FA has condemned England fans involved in "unacceptable behaviour" in Seville ahead of their Nations League match against Spain on Monday.

It is understood that between 40 and 50 individuals, believed to be England supporters, vandalised cars and had to be dispersed by riot police on Sunday night.

No arrests are believed to have been made, but an FA statement promised action against those involved.

It said: "We condemn the unacceptable behaviour witnessed in Seville. With the Spain fixture still to come on Monday night, we urge those following the team to respect our hosts and act in a responsible manner.

"The FA will work in partnership with the UK Football Policing Unit to help identify those involved and we will sanction any England Supporters' Travel Club member found to be responsible for disorder."

It is the second time this year England fans have been involved in unrest while following their team in Europe.
